Trying out the Neewer NK002 camera and lighting mount for desks.

In this article I set up my desk with a new overhead camera mount rig from Neewer, the NK002. I’ve been using a standard monitor arm with additional mounting hardware to hold my camera for years, but I wanted to see how this mount works in my creative computer workspace instead. Keep in mind that they sent me this mount at no cost with the expectation that I produce a few videos about it based on my standard collaboration terms . The were not allowed to give me talking points or preview anything that I created.  Check out the full video on YouTube :  Check it out on Neewer's official shop (not affiliated).   Or through my links:  Amazon:  https://amzn.to/4g3I2GI B&H Photo: https://bhpho.to/3Ce6I1u   As an affiliate of Amazon and B&H, I earn from qualifying purchases!  Unboxing and First Impressions The main box with accessories. Endurax V6 Camera Backpack

In the attached video, I visit my city’s downtown area to try out this camera backpack from Endurax called the ED-V6. I take a detailed look at the backpack and internal messenger bag while also doing photography.  The backpack with messenger bag. The backpack is a nice gray color that I think works well in more professional situations, which is why I brought it downtown instead of going out to my usual nature areas. Keep in mind that Endurax sent me this at no charge for test and to make a video on. Check out the Endurax ED-V6 Vintage Camera Backpack through my links on Amazon.com and eBay.com . Or visit the Endurax store on Amazon to see their other bags. As an Amazon and eBay Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases!  I’m 6 ft tall so you can get an idea of the backpack’s size. Features of note: Two bags in one. You get a full backpack and a messenger bag. I don’t like commenting on price but it currently priced very reasonably considering the two bags. The i...

Canon EF-M Lens Firmware

Two cameras with kit lenses. I have a pair of 15-45mm kit lenses. One came from a used Canon EOS M5 that I bought on eBay . The other came with one of my M50 bodies . After checking firmware versions I found out that the older lens had 2.0.0 firmware instead of 3.0.1 of the newer one. Checking the Canon website I was able to download the newer version and decided to go through the update process. (Links are affiliated, I earn from qualifying purchases!) The video with details on the process. DISCLAIMER: ATTEMPT FIRMWARE UPDATES AT YOUR OWN RISK. FIRMWARE CHANGES ALWAYS COME WITH A CHANCE OF FAILURE THAT WILL RENDER YOUR EQUIPMENT NOT FUNCTIONAL. DON’T COME AT ME COMPLAINING THAT YOUR LENS OR CAMERA ARE BRICKS. BEST CASE THERE WILL BE HAVING TO SEND THE GEAR TO CANON FOR REPAIR. As of the making of this video and article, Canon USA’s website is down due to a ransomware hack. We will be using the Canada website, but if I remember later on I will update this page with the USA link as wel...
